6.8 Using zip ties on Halcyon wings

A couple months after I bought my wing/plate setup at 5th Dimension Diving in Seattle, I noticed that three of the stainless thingamabobers that hold the wing to the backplate were missing and one was very loose. So I tightened the remaining ones and went to 5th Dimension and asked. The guy there said "we’re out of them, but everybody just uses zip-ties." So now I have a bunch of stainless thingamabobers and three zip-ties holding the thing on. Aside from being a minor Rule 6 violation, this mix-n-match solution has not yet actually caused my death or the death of any of my buddies. I did use those cute little dark blue zip-ties (two per hole) which matches the blue on the expanding part of the wing, so that may explain why no one has died yet.
